“You’re the best student teacher FDR ever had” 😭💚💛

I am the luckiest coach in the world! I got a new puppy and one my athlete’s bought us a bunch of new puppy must-haves ❤️💙🐶💙❤️

After four years of teaching at Middletown High School, and loving it, I am super stoked to start teaching at John Jay Senior High School in East Fishkill!

"New York State should not require school districts to offer remote learning moving forward and teachers should not be expected or required to teach in-person and remote students at the same time. It isn’t good teaching practice and it must end at the end of this school year."

She really is a teacher, isn’t she?!

[Eschlusser @Miss_Schluss]

Five years ago today I had to make this account for a class and thought I would never use it again 😬🙃

Keep in mind that educators are the ones that need to face children after things like yesterday happen. 😢

I am so grateful for my @MaristTcherEd community. It will be 4 yrs in May since my undergrad graduation and my fellow history majors and I are still sharing resources to better help our students in the wake of the 1/6/21 attack on the capital. Our kids will always be our priority

Scrap your lesson plans.

This is more important.

The fire alarm went off during my virtual observation today 🙃

For HRRA and WCC, 2020 has been challenging for both organizations! Through the work of volunteers and staff, they were able to continue offering high-quality and affordable access to rowing in our community! Please keep them in mind this Giving Tuesday! @HudsonRiverRow

Crazy that the last time it was Friday the 13th was March 13th, 2020...

The last day most schools were face-to-face before emergency learning.

😳

Reading can't be replaced! 🙌

[Eschlusser @Miss_Schluss]

One of my students from last spring walked into my classroom this morning and I cried. First time I’ve seen her outside of Google meet since March 13th.

Today I’m a happy teacher.

Back in April @NYGovCuomo said crew was a low risk sport! We would love the chance to get back to the water and give our student athletes a routine as well as a healthy/constructive outlet for stress! SEL is so important rn! Sports are great way to give students that support 😊💪🏼
