Not all barriers are within our control, but many, including the classroom climate we create, can be designed with our learners, as opposed to for them. #UDL
Special Educators: stop calling students you serve “my students.” It’s well intended, but it perpetuates division and exclusion. Students you serve belong in their general education classrooms, not special education #LeadInclusion#edchat#UDL#UDLchat#inclusion#edleadership
Our task, as #UDL practitioners, is to recognize how one-size-fits-all excludes learners and prevents students from becoming more expert in their learning. #UDLNow
The @evergreenps EP&O replacement levy affects both current & future students. Serena & her 2022-2023 Kindergarten classmates will need the programs the levy funds. Let’s show all our kids we value them, their education & future. #yesforevergreen@yesforevergreen
Grace, Kellen & Marcus putting in work for the @evergreenps replacement EP&O levy. They’re all in & need our communities support. You with them? #yesforevergreen@yesforevergreen
The @evergreenps replacement EP&O levy is about one & only one thing, the kids. Are you with them? Vote Yes to support our students! #epslevy https://t.co/CYMq3vWYN7
Sometimes, kids make bad choices. Sometimes, they really screw up. We hold them accountable... but we can also extend some grace. They need to know we still like them. They need to learn a lesson... but it is never constructive when they feel alienated from us.
