All ready for my virtual nursery graduation tomorrow. Cannot believe I’m not going to be there due to isolating. Grateful for my wonderful team for making it possible for me to be there even if not in person. Gutting that I can’t give them all a hug before I leave 😩
It’s the little things... one of my parents was late picking up yesterday. I gave the child my apple out my lunch so she wasn’t just watching me eat. The parent came this morning so thankful with a tray of apples for me 🥺🥰
I think teaching is the only job you have to work, before you get to work, so you have work to do at work. Then because I had no time at work to do work, I have to work after work to catch up on the work I didn’t do while at work.
Hi all, I’m looking for something that sets out what parents can be doing with their children at home to support development that’s not necessarily “home learning” I want to get it across to my parents that children need to learn through play and their interactions. Any ideas?
Honestly for those slating teachers, I’ve just burst into tears at the thought of not seeing my children for another 6 weeks. That’ll be 9 weeks in total. Totally doubting my ability to teach remotely 😢 what a year to start my teaching career
