We kicked off Geography with Compass 4 Corners! Ss made maps and used them to figure out where MO border states are in relation to each other!

After morning PD, I went to my class and taught the same lesson she modeled. All PD should be that applicable and relevant for Ts! It is so refreshing to watch others teach and get ideas! Thank you @KatherineBomer for the amazing session!

We started our poetry unit today with an around-the-room exploration of poems. They were completely silent and engaged without any prompting. I think I have a group of little poets on my hands! 🥰
