@GuptonFCS_LHS I believe all teachers should dress respectable and well, however as an early childhood educator “business clothes” can be difficult when we are on and off the floor all day. As a pre-k or kindergarten teacher I often wear a nice blouse with a pair of comfortable/stretchy jeans

Tomorrow is my last day of my first student teaching placement in 1st grade! These kids have a lot of love to give and I worked hard to really bring that out of them in my weeks with them. I will miss them all so much 😭

Been doing running records all week and my 1st grades get so excited when they go up a reading level and they announce it to their friends and they all high five each other and it’s so cute #WhyITeach

In school learning how to become a teacher we learn that a standardized test is not the best way to measure a students knowledge and ability- YET we must take multiple 3+ hour standardized tests to become a teacher. Makes sense.
