She admitted to the mistake and could comprehensively demonstrate how not to get in this situation again. Her record is exemplary from current and previous head.
Not sure it warrants the cost of the investigation to the TP.

Disruption will still exist due to the recruitment and retention crisis. A colossal problem not going away with this small development.

The bottom line for me as a teacher, is that this is causing a real issue in school, day to day. Students don’t have the fuel to concentrate.
Hangry is not the ‘ready to learn’ student we need in lessons.
More important than a pen!

As a student, I would lose respect for teachers who lost their 'cool' and resorted to shouting at peers, primarily because a large majority of the staff demonstrated patience and intelligence in handling such situations.
