"Whenever you feel like criticizing any one...just remember that all the people in this world haven't had the advantages that you've had." F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby
Hi teacher friends! I have spent my summer last year making this resource and finally decided to put it onto TES to sell, but it’s not really gaining any traction. It’s a fantastic fun revision game - based on the family friendly board game, Articulate.
Instead, as we spend a needless amount of times on admin, documentation, meetings and phone calls, all in the hope of making every classroom ‘the same’. This has led to the end of autonomy, of creativity and with this, an end to the joy of seeing your own ideas come to life.
Trusts are stripping away creativity and autonomy with ‘alignment’ so that all students are getting the same deal. But that deal is often uninspiring, watered down, and needlessly rigid. Humans thrive when being creative, this is a fact. It improves our wellbeing.
However… there’s a silent factor eating away at many teachers. Cooperative planning, lesson by lesson rigid schemes of work, exact ‘science’ behind how every lesson should look are also reducing the staff body to lifeless robots who spend more time in meetings than thinking.
Alright legends. I’m on the scrounge again - I’m looking for resources for Paper 2 Section B English Language and/or exemplar responses if anyone has any!
