We celebrated St.Patrick’s Day by looking at the history of St.Patrick. He lived in Ireland and used the Shamrock to explain The Holy Trinity. ☘️🙏🏻Students created their own Shamrock so they can tell others about Jesus! @alcdsb_erls @alcdsb @Miss_mcjohnson #erlcsdiscipleship

Kinders learned about firefighters and fire safety! We engaged in firefighter movement and went on a field trip to a fire station 🚒 Kinders learned about the different parts of a fire truck and created their own unique fire trucks using different shapes 😊👩‍🚒🧑‍🚒🔥💦@Miss_SOBrien

This week kinders learned about police officers 🚔🚨👮👮‍♂️ We went on a field trip to a police station and kinders were surprised to learn that our fingerprints are unique! Kinders used their imagination to create art using fingerprints 🎨✋🔎 @Miss_SOBrien @alcdsb_erls

Today kinders continued learning about hibernation! We talked about where bears like to hibernate in the winter and used problem solving skills to build our own dens for a bear 🐻❄️ kinders also observed real bears inside a hibernation den at Grouse Mountain! @Miss_SOBrien
