People might say I’m not lesbian “enough” because of my style or lack of experience, but one thing I am for sure is being the Lesbian Yearning Final Boss 🙂
there is not enough glaze for jacob anderson’s performance in iwtv to me because everytime i rewatch or even come across a clip it amazes me how pitch perfect he is in his delivery diction body language and facial expressions…a tremendous performance one of the Greats
still confused why people think this is corny when it’s the perfect conclusion of louis’ repression & guilt, of him accepting not only vampirism but also his identity . a callback to daciana’s “we own nothing” paired with mementos of claudia and paul to tie it all together
I was fine with it when I thought of it as “They didn’t have enough time for the season finale, it could be delved deeper next season” and guess what 🤡
I love this scene and it’s a great ending point for Louis’s season, but I think the actual problem with it isn’t the line or the scene itself, but that it isn’t built up to it properly. It’s rushed :(
The season ends with Louis learning about Armand’s lies and taking back his autonomy, but we don’t see that being properly processed. He thanks Louis for the gift and saying he’s going to try to life honest, but what does that mean for Louis and his relationship with vampirism.
