2022 is a wrap! The WNTL, that is. What an incredible season and community. Bicycle Law is proud to support the magic that happens at Hellyer Velodrome. Even though racing is over, there are plenty of training sessions still avail. Check @Hellyer for the calendar.
It’s $150 to register for the Omnium. The only way to race on the go kart track is entering the Onmium. It gets you free entry to all the parties, too! Afterparty at the fucking Independent!!!
The fixed gear races at this year’s San Rafael Sunset Crit will be Belgian Win and Outs. WTF is a Belgian Win and Out?!? No, it’s not a European ripoff of the best burger joint in the world (fight me)… it’s a race format borrowed from the track!
There are a set number of laps (probably 10-12), after which is the first bell lap. On that lap, the first person across the line is 5th. On the next lap, first across the line is 4th, then 3rd, then 2nd. The final lap is a sprint for 1st.
The San Rafael Sunset Crit is back!! Saturday, July 30, San Rafael, CA. USAC races PLUS fixed gear and MTB races on a short course. Everyone who is registered by noon on Friday July 1 will be entered to win a POC Ventral Air helmet from @mikesbikes 🤘 https://t.co/UCGuJCb3aR
Meet us at In Chan Kaajal Park on 17th Street (between Shotwell and Folsom). 6pm meet, 6:45pm roll out. Hope to see you there.
Thanks to @paulvaldezsf for the image and organizing the ride. #rideofsilence#RideOfSilence2022
The Ride of Silence is hard. Bicycling is joy, and celebrating the lives of those no longer with us is meaningful. Acknowledging our failings as a society – in infrastructure, in income inequality, and inattention – hurts. We can, we must do better.
ADVENTURE TIME! 3 of our new Bicycle Law bottles will be stashed in the Marin Headlands today. 2 have $25 @mikesbikes gift cards and one has a $50 gift card and a FREE entry to @migchapulin's Sherwood Adventure on Sunday 5/15.
Stay tuned for location hints!
With 20k spectators and 400+ athletes traveling to SF from out of state and country, we look forward to showing off #carfreejfk as an example of SF leadership prioritizing its citizens and the future of the City.
