3/3) Only providing $ or resources to select institutions is a *choice* by our City, elected officials no where to be found outside of photo ops, & the wealthy upholding inequity & their interests.
1/3) Local señoras organizing on WhatsApp, w/youth to fundraise online, & using laundry carts to deliver meals/groceries have been doing a better job of consist. redistributing wealth than politicians & heavily funded orgs. $ is needed in the hands of the people, not institutions
2/3) Despite the *existing & overflowing* resources in this city, without mutual aid groups - entire neighborhoods, housing complexes, church congregations & distrusting community members wouldn’t have safe access to food during (& before) the pandemic.
