A 20-year-old pregnant woman, Refilwe Matsila, was reported missing on 5 September. She was later found dead with multiple stab wounds, while the baby she was carrying was reported missing. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.

Community members who may have been hijacked or robbed by suspects arrested at CJC College in Alexandra this morning are urged to come forward and provide information to Bramley Police Station.

The suspects were arrested during an operation involving security patrol officers and SAPS members. A firearm was also recovered.

Police are investigating possible links to other hijackings and robberies in the area.

SAD: Vusimuzi “Vusi” Radebe was walking home from his grandmother’s house in Kwaguqa to Lynville when he was reportedly stopped and questioned about where he lived. His family says he told those questioning him that he lived in Kempton Park — and was then allegedly beaten to death amid assumptions linked to recent violence there. Vusi died at the scene. His family is appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward.
