Missouri public and charter schools reported over 15,000 incidents involving of seclusion/restraint last school year. At least 8 seclusions lasted longer than 3 hours. 38 "major" injuries were sustained. We need to talk about it.

Governor signed a bill into law today that prohibits student cell phone use during the school day. The law allows for special education students to use them as an accommodation, but you'll need to make sure the device is written into the child's IEP or 504.
