Wales were written off by many before this tournament, but they've claimed the Triple Crown and remain on course for Grand Slam glory!

Happy half term everyone! Not even 09:30 in the morning and I have the Friday feeling. Hope everyone has a fantastic day and a restful half term ๐ฅณ๐ฅณ
Going to introduce a 'Miss P's challenge' every week, things to make lockdown a more positive experience for my Year 7s. So far I have:
- Email a teacher saying how much you're enjoying lessons
- Phoning / texting someone you haven't spoken to in a while
Any suggestions welcome!
@RebeccaWildish Love this!! Iโm thinking of setting a nature challenge over half term - they have to collect a leaf from an oak tree, or a stone or something like that and to make a collage - top 3 wins prizes or house points or something!
I also have:
- Arrange a video call with a friend from school
- Trying something new such as baking, cooking, bird-watching, etc
- To send a motivational message to someone in your form
It's okay if your child can only manage core subjects online.
It's okay if your child isn't motivated 100% of the time (hell I'm barely motivated AT ALL this time round).
It's okay if your child doesn't know the full ins and outs of Microsoft Teams / Google C. yet
It's okay.
@misscenglish20 3) Assignments on Teams is amazing: it will allow you to see who's clicked on it and who's submitted work. You can mark it from there if needed or just create a quiz that marks itself
4) Recording lessons isn't only good for safeguarding but it means pupils can access it anytime
@misscenglish20 So a few tips:
1) Only share your PowerPoint and not the whole screen, that way you're able to see the chat as well (I always have my students either come on the mics or type answers into chat)
2) Use the hands up function for when pupils want to share answers / ask questions
