Target is offering teachers 15% off for supplies for their classrooms. I’m curious. Do doctors pay for their own supplies? Dentists? Lawyers? The audacity of the ad is what bothered me. It is assumed we will purchase supplies because it’s what we’ve always done for our students.
@tbelmontedu I am a huge fan of concept maps. I Introduce it to all my students. We watch a video, do a practice together and then I have them use it a few times to get the hang of it.

@WeAreTeachers I worked at a behavioral school for ASD students. I had 2 outrageous requests. 1. Could we teach a male student to masterbate? 2. Could I teach a female student how to insert a tampon instead of the sanitary napkin. Hmmm no #teachertwitter
