Garga is no martyr or victim. He is an unhinged, hate-spewing, arrogant, parochial bigot. He is neither a defender/protector of Bengali culture nor does he represent Bengali nationalism. He and his gang have been going around intimidating poor workers from Bihar/UP and inciting people against them actively. That courage however went up his posterior aperture when it came to speaking or acting against TMC leaders in power, like Firhad Hakim. He openly advocated allowing migration from Bangladesh by positing it as a counter to migration of Biharis and people of other provinces.

I defend his right to express his opinion freely. But was he doing only that? The court will decide the merit of the arrest, but it is funny how the usual suspects have suddenly discovered liberal values to support a devious person. He has suddenly been turned into a martyr. Where was it for the innumerable cases in the last decade?

Chinmoy Krishna Das Prabhu, a spiritual leader and an ISKCON monk, continues to languish behind bars in Bangladesh while the world watches.

When even his lawyers are intimidated, threatened and silenced in court corridors, what justice are we even talking about?
Is advocating for the rights of the Minority Hindu community a crime? When a saffron-clad soul is treated like a criminal for raising his voice, the world CANNOT remain silent.

I appeal to the Government of Bangladesh to give medical aid and, more importantly, access to fair justice to Chinmoy Krishna Das Prabhu immediately. May he be granted bail at the earliest.

And to all the pseudo-secularists and Selective Human rights Activists around the World who flood timelines overnight, wave watermelons and trend hashtags on cue, your silence can be still heard. Apparently, your humanity has a filter.

Before calling Amit Shah a Goonda let me enumerate to you this true incident.

Aditya Birla of the Aditya Birla Group in the 1990 was publicly assaulted and humiliated in Kolkata while commuting to his office in his car.
He was dragged out of his car between the GPO and RBI building right opposite the Writers’ Building in central Kolkata.
Goondas of the leftists communist party beat him up, tore his clothes and stripped him down to his undergarments, and then forced him to walk the remaining distance to his office at 15 India Exchange Place under jeering and ridicule.
Aditya Birla after returning to his office, immediately left for Mumbai by the next flight, never to return to Kolkata ever in his lifetime and within 15 days shifted most of his group's business operations out of West Bengal leading to the exodus of most of the Industrial houses and businesses from Bengal.

This is called Goondaism and Goonda Raj.
When a CM snatches files from the ED and takes them under her custody that is called Goondaism.

Don't confuse Goondaism with campaigning. Use your dog sense.
