I adore football, but me and mates had racist abuse whilst playing as kids, I have witnessed racist abuse in stands multiple times and “banter” based on lazy racial stereotypes is prevalent in football changing rooms. There’s a disturbing culture in football that needs addressing

Britain 100% has an issue with racism! A huge factor being a large amount of people’s ignorance towards systemic issues and a belief that one cannot be proud to be British whilst also challenging racism in Britain. Clearly demonstrated in some replies to the original tweet 😩

Started to use sentence starters and conjunctives for pupils to articulate understanding. Really simple and worked a treat in helping pupils to eloquently articulate their understanding of tactics! Especially good with EAL pupils. Thanks @LisaPal48627795 for the idea!
