These same people will come on Twitter tomorrow and tell Northerners they’re the ones living in poverty while they’re living in paradise.
Meanwhile, look at them fighting over ordinary Akara. 😂
You really can’t make this stuff up.
I was informed that my mother has been sick 3 days ago by my dad on WhatsApp
I kept mute because I was still hurt
I couldn't just ignore for long so I took a bold decision yesterday to visit my parents after a long time of threats and curses from them since I reverted to Islam
My parents were shocked to see me though
So I bought them some provisions and gave to them like I used to in the past
I saw my mother and I was weeping inside my heart
I learnt they've gone to several hospitals but her condition persists
So without looking back I held her hands and started reciting surah falaq, nas and ayatul kursi
Then I got a glass of water and recited surah fatiha on it and blew air into it and gave her to drink because I learnt that surah is also called The Cure
My father didn't stop me
But I noticed my mum started getting relieved gradually
To cut the long story short I left towards the evening because I had a flight to catch to lagos and I left hurriedly
When I got to lagos as at 7pm I called them back and my father said my mum has been sleeping so I let them rest
This morning my dad's call woke me up by 4am to tell me that my mums sleep improved overnight and she's been moving her limbs better since last night
He said whatever I did yesterday worked o that he doesn't mind if I keep doing that
I was overjoyed after the call
I had my tahajjud and thanked Allah and prayed my mums health improves
But I still kept wondering how a simple surah from the Glorious Qur’an could be so effective
I am beginning to deepen my Fear for Allah SWT
On the other hand I am wishing they turn to Allah so they can see how Great Allah is and worship him too
Indeed Allah is the greatest
After making further inquiries, I learned that her name is Khadijah and that she was persuaded to delete the video.
According to her, the incident occurred in Ogun State, along Abeokuta Road, on Ayetoro Road, just after Alamala Barracks.
She also said she later discovered that the officer who called her a "bandit" was not a police officer but an immigration officer.
Below is her TikTok handle. "Khadeejah/B"
This is what they used to do our innocent northerners while trying to transport food to them.
You all keep wondering why food prices are going higher, this is one of the reasons.
"No gree for anybody o!"
"If I were a bandit, you wouldn't be standing here," she fired back.
A Hausa/Fulani woman stood up for her dignity after security operatives ordered everyone to come out for a search.
When one of the officers allegedly said, "That one is Yoruba, not Fulani. Don't search her," she perceived the remark as disrespectful and responded by defending both her dignity and that of her community.

On Dr. Ibrahim's death: Sulaiman Harbo wrote: 👇
Innalillahi wa inna ilaihir raji'un
Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.
It is not in my habit to write tributes, even after witnessing several sudden and painful deaths. But the loss I witnessed yesterday, Saturday, was both shocking and deeply humbling.
I had taken my mother to Arewa Surgery Hospital, Hotoro Bypass, for a scheduled appointment at about 5:00 p.m. We came to see the Consultant Physician. We were initially scheduled to see Dr. Mijinyawa, but we were informed he would not be available. The staff recommended Dr. Ibrahim, a Senior Consultant Gastroenterology, whom Dr. Mijinyawa often refers his patients to in his absence.
Over time, I had grown comfortable seeing Dr. Ibrahim. We were close in age, and attended university at the same time he was a year ahead of me and we shared several mutual friends as most of my university roommates were medical students, and many of them are consultants today. So seeing Dr. Ibrahim was never a concern.
Yesterday, however, took a turn none of us expected. About six patients, including my mother and I, were waiting, We were the first to arrive. At about 6:30 p.m., my mother, tired from waiting, I then went to the reception to inquire. The receptionist called Dr. Ibrahim and was told he was still at home. I asked that he be informed my mother was among the patients waiting. He graciously agreed to come immediately after observing Maghrib prayer.
I checked my watch and stepped out to perform ablution, then went to the mosque. Immediately after Maghrib, I returned to the waiting lobby. I did not know Dr. Ibrahim had arrived.
Tragically, shortly after stepping out of his car, he felt dizzy. Other doctors rushed to his aid and moved him to the emergency unit. Within 15 minutes, he was confirmed dead, Innalillahi Wa'inna'ilaihirra'jiun.
The painful irony was this: All the patients waiting to see him are above 80 years of age, and about five Senior Consultant doctors fought to save him, yet all of them broke down in tears.
My mother, unaware of what had happened, called me, “Tafida, if the doctor is not coming, let’s go home.( Banajin dadi tunda bansami damar Sallar magrib ba) I am worried I didn't observe Maghrib. Before I could answer her, another patient said, “Hajiya, the doctor we all are waiting for has just arrived… and has passed away.”
My mother said, “Innalillahi wa'inna ilaihir raji'un ( Yanzu dama likitan namune aka shigo dashi a guje) Tafida tashi mutafi gida kawai Allah yajikansa, ni nawarke ma, let’s go home.” I had to summon courage to drive us back home.
But in all of this, there is a profound comfort: his last words were LA'ILAHA ILLALLAH which everyone present heard clearly.
Dr. Ibrahim, may Allah forgive your shortcomings, accept your last testimony, grant you Al-Jannah Firdaus, and give your family the fortitude to bear this loss. Amin.
Hon, Suleiman Abdullahi Harbo MNIM,
(Tafidan Harbo).
We preach tolerance, but we don’t practice it.
Let it be on record: this young man was sacked because he refused to lead the opening prayers. Just because the man has deconstructed from Christianity and chose to be honest about his personal journey, his livelihood was taken away the very next day.
Tolerance in words, intolerance in action. Justice for the poor boy 💔
