.@sen_jeanleising Our students, with the guidance of their parents and educators, are fully capable of learning to make sense of our complicated history and society. We owe it to them to ensure they have the freedom to learn and pursue their dreams.

This is why Indiana State standards require students to study multiple world religions and philosophies.
I pity the fool who doesn't understand what Mr. T is talking about!
All STEM and no social studies makes us fools in the game, lame and insane.
It was nice catching up, @SophieGrace2130, and with you the other day @Kathryn_Perry3. You're brilliant and wonderful people, and hearing about your lives has been exciting!
I've always joked with 7th graders: "someday I'll run into you at @kroger, and I'll struggle to remember your name. Don't take it personally - I'll be so old then!"
Well, now that my babies are SENIORS (who DRIVE?! 😭), it's happening!
So far I remember who they are, though😄
@suptdrmccormick Don't let them control the conversation Dr. McCormick. We still need 150%-200% funding for every student, so that teacher-student ratios can be adjusted favorably, beginning teachers can be paid fairly, etc.
