For those who cannot run Oblivion Remastered on their elderly PC – it’s available on Xbox Cloud. With a modest 30 FPS cap and possible queue before play, it isn’t ideal, but it’s playable.

Been playing the Oblivion Remaster and enjoying it tremendously. It’s like a jug of ice water in the desert of Bethesda’s recent releases. How is it that, arguably since Skyrim/Fallout 3, whenever an outside studio takes a crack at Bethesda’s open world games & IPs, the results are more satisfying and/or technically proficient than Bethesda's latest? New Vegas, Fallout: London, Oblivion Remastered... even the Fallout TV show; all better than Starfield, Fallout 4 & 76, etc. Why does everyone get it but them?
