Watch as police officers confront a man suspected of carrying out a terrorist attack in north London where two men were stabbed.

The suspect refused to show his hands, was violent and continued to pose a clear threat. Using only their training, courage and tasers, they detained him while he continued to try to attack and stab them. This took true courage.

A police van gave chase to a Smart car driven by a not-so-smart suspect.

Officers skilfully weaved in and out of rush‑hour traffic to apprehend the driver, who mounted pavements and ran red lights at dangerous speeds.

Met officers made full use of new legislation at today's #CarabaoCup final and arrested three men for tailgating.

Hours later, one of the men was charged. Making it first charge for tailgating at a football match. The other two remain in police custody.
