@thenostalgic Honestly sometimes I feel like a fallen hero that became disenchanted with how ineffective his efforts were, so he becomes a villain to punish the people that failed him.
That's all I want...
Retribution for what I was denied.
@MiaxChainsaw24 Is it above or below the circle for people that come in seven minutes before close, then take that seven minutes to decide on three sandwiches?
@MMortemm Then there is a new guy at the fryer that seems to do marginally better than the new backliner.
The real thing that sucks is as much as I want to be pissed at the trainees, I can't, because I was at that point once.
But the thing is I adapted pretty quickly.
Need to vent.
Closed last night and worked lunch today at Arby's, and both shifts were horribly chaotic.
@MMortemm where you at? I need someone else in food service to relate to lol
@MMortemm Well we actually have one that does okay, but there is one on the back line that doesn't really get yet that she has to be proactive about getting stuff out quickly.
She just stands by the slicer and asks the portion size for EVERY SINGLE SANDWICH...
@MMortemm Chaos. Consistently busy all day, and it took an absurdly long time to get any orders out, and I had to stay an extra half hour until the assistant manager arrived.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention we brought on four trainees, none of whom were as fast as we needed them to be.
@MMortemm (2) only for the customers to "nevermind" the french dips AFTER THEY HAD ALREADY BEEN MADE! Then, EIGHT FUCKING MINUTES BEFORE CLOSE, these two women come in and take SEVEN MINUTES to decide on three sandwiches.
