Those unknowns in your life that keep stealing both your peace and your sleep? You don’t have to keep trying to figure those things out tonight, sweet friend.
Because God knows all things, we can rest safely in the knowledge that we don’t have to know everything.
You cannot serve God and popular opinion.
You cannot serve God and people-pleasing.
You cannot serve God and immorality.
You cannot serve God and pride.
You cannot serve God and bitterness.
You cannot serve God and yourself.
Choose this day who you will serve.
It’s easy to doubt God’s goodness when our valley season seems unending.
But this is the truth: Even when we can’t see it, God is working in our waiting.
God isn’t ever caught off guard, taken by surprise, or shocked by what happens next.
So no matter what this day may have held, you can sleep well tonight. You are safe in His hands.
“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety.” Psalm 4:8
Sometimes fear can make us forgetful. This is why we must purposefully look back and trace God’s hand of faithfulness in our lives.
God has been faithful before, and He will be faithful again.
. “Pain, joy, frustration, euphoria, everything. It all passes. It all keeps moving. Wherever you are is temporary”. This quarantine will pass too. We will come out the other side stronger and appreciating each other and our blessings even more 😊@Lin_Manuel
We can’t always fix our circumstances, but we can fix our eyes on God.
And one of the best ways to begin is simply by lifting up gratitude-filled prayers. Each thing we verbalize our thankfulness for is like a stepping stone out of the pit of discouragement we’ve been in.
Among all the changes in this season, find comfort in this steadfast promise from Christ. “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid” (John 14:27).https://t.co/ZhVWkvBkdb
Everything is being cancelled… games, shows, vacations...
cancellations everywhere! But God will never cancel his promise to take care of us!
Do not interpret the presence of problems as the absence of God. He has promised “never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
