@djsworld2012@hell_line0 lol “arbitrary suffering” - spoken just like someone who has no friggin’ clue what living with chronic debilitating life-limiting illness feels like. I love it.
I do find it a bit ironic that you included a line about not being god in response to a photo that is such a robust example of humans playing god in medicine. It’s okay to slice and dice the kiddos and put them through endless medical procedures attached to artificial life support if they can live longer even if living looks like that.
@CollinRugg 20% of US pregnancies are aborted annually. You better start preaching to every 3rd woman you meet and make an self-righteous ass of yourself.
@justanazmomma It’s 1 in 3
1 woman for every 3 of reproductive age will have an abortion by age 45. Trending towards 35%.
Women you love and admire had abortions. You just don’t know about it. Straight facts.
@foxandfriends
Oh,yeah - those Great Lakes!
Erie, represent!
They are totally mid-winter surfing toward Niagara Falls by way of the Erie Canal and Niagara River in February in WNY.
Feeling good about this.
@JustJessBeeFree@kaylee_ashlynn@McJuggerNuggets Perhaps you have your Christian values twisted because the point is not to have faith in earthly beings and existence but to have faith in god, the afterlife, and the divine.
@JustJessBeeFree@kaylee_ashlynn@McJuggerNuggets So a parent who makes a decision to not chance their child knowing nothing but physical and medical suffering is somehow inhumane to you? Man, that moral superiority complex sure makes some of you delusional.
@BritishUnityUK@elliottengenMN@nypost Do you think babies who can’t eat by mouth or breathe without artificial ventilation experience extreme hunger and fatigue? Do you imagine it also feels like suffering or do you lie to yourself to soothe your asinine moral conviction?
Just to clarify - it’s wrong to “dismember” a child in the womb before their individual existence truly begins but it’s okay to “dismember” special needs children with severe health problems in a cold OR to extend their quantitative lives with willful ignorance towards the quality of such existence? These children also can’t consent to bodily autonomy.
Inflicted suffering is okay as long is as it’s post-natal and long-lasting? Can you really delineate between the “selfishness” of parents who make hard decisions that ensure suffering is as temporary as possible and those who put children through years of medical procedures and institutions to merely prolong “life”? Such ignorance.
@BritishUnityUK@elliottengenMN@nypost Of course it worth noting that 40-50% of children with Down Syndrome have some degree of cardiac defect. This point is not in vain.
@trumpisourguy1@nypost It is so disingenuous to post something so ignorant and shameful. Of course there are high functioning people with Trisomy 21. Trisomy 21 also looks like this. Only a maligned heart would ignore this degree of medical suffering to score moral superiority points.
There’s an almost 2 month differential between your 28 week gestational child and the decision they made at 21 weeks gestation. It is comparing apples to oranges in terms of viability, degree of life-sustaining medical intervention, and lifelong health complications. This is ignorant.
