This was from Gulf War I and it was showed going through Top Gun. The full video is longer and absolutely terrifying for pilots that operate over bad guy country. Note the airspeed on the left and the altitude on the right.

Sure, they're only 60s era SA-2s, but you have to honor any SAM threat. The Iraqis were trying to do what you did with older SAMs; fire over and over (radar and optically guided) to beat the guy down in AS and altitude and drag him down to the MANPAD/AAA environment (below 10K').

All in all, I think this guy gets 7 SAMs fired on him and successfully evades. Remember when I said the Viper has outstanding energy addition capabilities? THIS is where that saved the day. Ultimately, Top Gun showed you this video to teach you one thing. Never give up. Ever.
