Our anxious thoughts do not originate in the present moment. Rather, they are theoretical projections about the future based on past experience. The ego attempts to protect us by preparing us for potential threats. However, this protection can sometimes come at a devastating cost
@orphanedsky Sometimes, deep subconscious patterns cause us to act in ways that we would never act if we had been raised by loving parents. Then, we destroy not only the flowers of others, especially those who love us, but also our own flower garden.

If we can allow some space within our awareness and rest there, we can respect our troubling thoughts and emotions, allow them to come, and let them go. Our lives may be complicated on the outside, but we remain simple, easy, and open on the inside.
