By far the best discussion after any podium talk I've given. Research is a ton of fun. Networking and bonding with colleagues over findings is a whole other level. Thanks for the honor @NASSspine!
Yesterday, @MitchFourmanMD presented on lumbar interbody fusion techniques at the @NASSpine annual conference in Chicago. He discussed his research findings on how female sex & supine proximal lumbar lordosis are associated with the size of the LLIF “safe zone” at L4-5. #NASS2022
Privileged to officially begin work as a part of @MontefioreOrtho and @MontefioreNYC. I've been humbled by the welcoming faculty, incredible facilities and inspiring patients. Immensely excited by the work ahead.

Privileged to present work on metastatic breast cancer to the spine done during ortho onc fellowship with @JohnHShinMD at #ISASS22. Great conference and learning this week, so much more to do!
RIP Dr. Freddie Fu. Thank you for everything you've done for my family and for giving me opportunities to provide for my wife/children and patients beyond my wildest dreams.
Arielle and I will miss you very much but you will continue to live through us.

spine team to start September 2022! Could not be more excited to join an incredible group of surgeons and for the opportunity to work to improve spine and spine oncology care while living close to family.
Patients are smart but do not understand that "providers" are not equal in role and training. It's not a pride issue, it's a care one. Nurses do incredible things for patients that physicians don't have time/skill for. I am proud of the medical competency I provide as a physician
We are so excited to announce the incoming Pitt Ortho Class of 2021! We can’t wait to welcome you to Pittsburgh and work with you in a few short months! https://t.co/HLXgvpkqdH

I love this country. It saved my family, first from Russian pogroms and then from the Nazis. Chances are it saved yours too. We are not far from being the true Great Society envisioned by Johnson, but yesterday as a microcosm of the last year demonstrates how far we have to go.
Can't be more correct. In addition to 9 months of actual clinical data on these patients through Phase 1-3 trials, we have decades of vaccine history to support safety and efficacy. There's more danger in Taco Bell than this vaccine.
"Was the COVID vaccine was created too fast?"
Spoiler: "No"
It only seems that way if you overlook decades of research. Science is cumulative. Technological advancements of the last few decades made it possible to complete research faster and faster.
Our story starts in 1961.
Took a COVID test in Florida 2 days ago and one when I got back to Massachusetts last night. The one from Mass just came back, while Florida is still pending.
This is how you screw up a pandemic
One of my favorite times of day is walking to my car in the parking garage, which is typically silent by the time that I go home.
Sometimes it's so easy to get your head caught in the sounds and motion that the beauty and balance of silence is forgotten.
