Springsteen on Colbert:
"I’m here in support tonight for Stephen, because you are the first guy in America who lost his show because we got a president who can't take a joke….and because Larry and David Ellison feel they need to kiss his ass to get what they want. Stephen, these are small-minded people. They got no idea what the freedoms of this beautiful country are supposed to be about" 🔥
@TreesWinnipeg What happened to the Basswood? I can’t seem to find it on the products page? Your pre sale promotion mentioned there would be basswood available for sale.
Mehdi Hasan just demolished the sacred “Israel has a right to exist” argument.
He exposed it for exactly what it is: classic Israeli propaganda designed to shut down all criticism and dodge accountability.
No state has a divine “right to exist.”
Nations exist through power, history, and recognition not magical immunity from scrutiny.
Stuck in that bullshit debate?
Mehdi drops three killer counter-arguments that flip the script every single time.
And just like that, it’s completely VANISHED from the media.
A sitting congressman, Ted Lieu, said on the record the Epstein files are being blocked because they show Trump raped and threatened to kill children.
Let’s keep this in the spotlight every day
If there is precisely one thing you watch today, make it this. French Senator Claude Malhuret. A microphone. And the most magnificently savage dismantling of the Trump administration ever delivered in a language they almost certainly don’t speak.
He covers Iran. He covers corruption. He covers the kind of staggering, industrial-scale incompetence that would get you fired from managing a car park. And he does it with the calm, unhurried certainty of a man who has read every page of the indictment and found it, if anything, worse than expected.
France has never pretended to like these people. But this is contempt elevated to an art form. The kind of refined, aristocratic disdain that takes centuries of civilization to produce and approximately ninety seconds to deploy.
Malhuret sounds like he is four seconds from the button. Not out of panic. Out of sheer, exhausted disgust.
Honestly? Understandable.
Watch it. Share it. The adults are speaking.

This is probably the most important article of the month: an op-ed by Oman's Foreign Minister, who mediated the talks between the U.S. and Iran, in which he writes that the U.S. "has lost control of its foreign policy" to Israel.
He repeats that a deal was possible as an outcome of the talks (something confirmed by the UK's National Security Advisor, who also attended: https://t.co/XkfSpkMjCf) and that the military strike by the U.S. and Israel was "a shock."
Interestingly, given he is one of Iran's neighbors and given that Oman has been struck multiple times by Iran since the war began (https://t.co/IXNdwD6f3j), he writes that "Iran’s retaliation against what it claims are American targets on the territory of its neighbours was an inevitable result" of the U.S.-Israeli attack. He describes it as "probably the only rational option available to the Iranian leadership."
He says the war "endangers" the region's entire "economic model in which global sport, tourism, aviation and technology were to play an important role." He adds that "if this had not been anticipated by the architects of this war, that was surely a grave miscalculation."
But, he adds, the "greatest miscalculation" of all for the U.S. "was allowing itself to be drawn into this war in the first place."
In his view this was the doing of "Israel’s leadership" who "persuaded America that Iran had been so weakened by sanctions, internal divisions and the American-Israeli bombings of its nuclear sites last June, that an unconditional surrender would swiftly follow the initial assault and the assassination of the supreme leader."
Obviously, this proved completely wrong, and the U.S. is now in a quagmire. He says that, given this, "America’s friends have a responsibility to tell the truth," which is that "there are two parties to this war who have nothing to gain from it," namely "Iran and America."
He says that all of the U.S. interests in the region (end to nuclear proliferation, secure energy supply chains, investment opportunities) are "best achieved with Iran at peace."
As he writes, "this is an uncomfortable truth to tell, because it involves indicating the extent to which America has lost control of its own foreign policy. But it must be told."
He then proposes a couple of paths to get back to the negotiating table, although he recognizes how difficult it would be for Iran "to return to dialogue with an administration that twice switched abruptly from talks to bombing and assassination."
That's perhaps the most profound damage Trump did during this entire episode: the complete discrediting of diplomacy. If Iran was taught anything, it is: don't negotiate with the U.S., it's a trap that will literally kill you.
The great irony of the man who sold himself as a dealmaker is that he taught the world one thing: don't make deals with my country.

@davidfrum Iran is not the aggressor here. Isreal and the US can simply stop their illegal war on Iran, Lebanon and Palestine, and your propaganda will cease to have a narrative. Stop being a war monger.

Single Handedly carried the Americans over a much better Team Canada team.
Never, ever want to hear the disrespect again on this man’s name.
Canada is under threat from a vicious cancer: MAGA. It has crossed the border. The cancer must be stopped. The American people stand with the free people of Canada.

Another day, another impeachable level scandal, and the media is nowhere. Are they intimidated, or just addicted to the clicks he brings?
I remember the press stampede demanding Joe Biden step aside over one debate. Now we get nonstop chaos from Donald Trump and suddenly accountability is optional.
They all know he is morally and psychologically unfit. The silence is not journalism. It is complicity.
🚨BREAKING: ICE agents pulled guns on an unarmed U.S. citizen in a small Minnesota town… then had to be stopped by the local police chief.
This happened in St. Peter, Minnesota. A quiet southern Minnesota town
A local woman was alone in her car, observing and recording ICE activity in her community. She is doing something that is fully protected under the First Amendment… observing and documenting federal agents in public.
ICE notices her watching.
Three federal vehicles begin chasing her, and try to force her to pull over.
They eventually box her car in and three agents jump out of the vehicle in front of her… with their guns drawn… screaming at her to get out of the car.
She refuses, and states her rights.
The agents open her car door anyway, drag her out, force her to the ground, and handcuff her.
This is all happening while she is unarmed, and alone on a country road.
She suffers cuts, scrapes, and bruises as they pin her down.
Her husband then arrives and starts recording. He tells them they don’t have a warrant and cannot search her car. An ICE agent dismisses him outright and says, “I’m not getting into the legality of everything.”
Read that again.
A federal agent, pointing guns at civilians, openly says they are not concerned with legality.
ICE puts this woman into their vehicle and starts driving her toward the Twin Cities, toward a federal detention facility… even though she is a U.S. citizen.
About twenty minutes into the drive, they suddenly turn around after getting a call from a supervisor.
The St. Peter police chief stepped in.
After her husband contacted an attorney and spoke with the police chief, the chief identified the vehicle ICE was using, took custody of the woman, and personally drove her home.
ICE turned her over to local police because what they were doing was so clearly wrong.
This is what is happening in America.
A small-town police chief had to intervene to stop federal agents from disappearing an unarmed woman for observing them.
If ICE feels comfortable pulling guns on unarmed citizens in small towns, chasing them, throwing them to the ground, and ignoring the law entirely, then no town is too small and no one is safe from ICE brutality.
This is what it looks like when federal agents think they’re above the Constitution.
Where’s Trump's board of Peace?
Israel has just bombed a camp sheltering displaced people in a safe zone.
Children killed.
This violates Article 52 of Additional Protocol (I) Geneva Conventions, but international law clearly doesn't apply to Israel.
BREAKING: The Trump DOJ just published highly disturbing Files about Trump and then DELETED them.
We screen captured them before they were deleted.
Please share these documents far and wide. Don’t let them cover THIS up!!

Angus: Donald Trump is furious that he was made to look like an absolute buffoon in Davos, and that the revenge was coming fast and quick. And what do you do the next day? You start raising the issue of breaking Canada apart.
This is the Donbass playbook. Exactly. This has been in the works for some time. The Alberta separatists—these are not credible people. One of them is an ex-Marine. I mean, can you say astroturf?
But what they’ve been doing is meeting in Washington. You know, Pete Hoekstra, the ambassador to Canada, accused us of foreign interference by showing a commercial of Ronald Reagan. Meanwhile, the Alberta separatists claim there’s a $500 million slush fund on the table for them to help break up Canada.
This is the play they’re going to be using against us. We have an extremist premier, Danielle Smith, who’s been undermining Canada again and again. I just came back from Alberta—huge rallies in Calgary and Edmonton. People do not want this.
But what they understand is it doesn’t matter what the majority thinks right now. What matters is Donald Trump’s ability to create an impression so that he has an excuse, a provocation, to act. That’s the Vladimir Putin playbook.
These are really, really dangerous times. Ben, we have to start calling this out. We have to shine a light on this. And unfortunately, our national media are being led by the nose on this.
This is not a credible rallying of independence. This is about subservience to the MAGA agenda, and Canadians need to recognize the threat that’s coming at us right now.
Wall Street is ROBBING YOU.
At what point does @SECGov actually DO SOMETHING about this fraudulent system?
Shut down the FED. Arrest the bankers, hedge fund managers, and market makers that are responsible for these crimes.
Americans and the world deserve better.
