Officially Graduated High School.
I am grateful for all the experiences, the teachers, and the friends I had during my time at WO high school. They have helped shape the person that I became and who I will become.
Thank you for everything WO.
We’re building our strength at home.
That’s why we launched Team Canada Strong — our nationwide effort to recruit, train, and hire up to 100,000 skilled trades workers. The workers that will build the homes, transit, and energy projects that will build Canada strong.
The House of Commons is finishing a remarkably productive spring sitting and we are proud of what we have accomplished for Canadians.
MPs passed 21 government bills in 14 weeks. Two themes are prominent in the legislation: the economy and protecting Canadians from crime. We passed legislation to strengthen our economy, create jobs, make us more competitive in the world as a trading partner, and make life more affordable at home.
We have passed bills that modernizes the criminal justice system, protects victims of crime, and gives police the tools they need to do their job.
I thank MPs for their hard work and look forward to the return of the House in the fall, with another busy agenda ahead.
