3. Effort. Too many people quit when things get tough. I say it often. You don't have to be the best, but you've got to give your best.

Coaching 5th-6th grade girls has been an adventure. A few things that it's taught me about leadership.

1. Patience. Development is far better than winning. If a person gets better than you are winning.

2. Fun. Leading should be something that's fun. If your teams not having fun than they won't produce the results you want.
