@citizentvkenya@SamGituku I would really wish that you ask Ruto, if education has become meaningless, whereby everything is in shambles but the president, the head of state isn't worried about it, does hw think that their has Ben learning in grade 7 this year, teachers aren't motivated.
@PeterSalasyah @TSC_KE @PeterSalasyah my humble plea is that you table this matter in parliament and let the world know what is really happening in JSS, teachers are suffering, employing them will motivate them thus they will deliver else it is going to be a challenge. #confirmjssinterns
Lakini hii issue ya interns ni heartbreaking.. Imagine working as interns for one year after kuambiwa mko guaranteed a job contract ikiisha alafu mnaambiwa mwende extra year tena.. Teacher unions pia zilikufa with kina Sossion.. Teachers are on their own breh
So @TSC_KE has blocked me for calling them out? You can block the messenger but you will not block the message. Teachers Service Commission is Corrupt to the core! We have one message, Confirm the JSS Interns.
@edgarwabwire_@TSC_KE They are aware of the issues at hand and that is why you are being blocked, continue fighting for the teachers to safeguard the future of our children the generations to come.#confirmseniorinterns
@edgarwabwire_@TSC_KE It is dehumanizing to work in such states with very little pay of 17000/- instead of 20000/- as agreed on the contract. Teachers have suffered for 1 year in jss schools it is only but fair to reward teachers with PNP positions to boost their morale and enhance smooth teaching.
Good morning the corrupt @TSC_KE
Why is are you guys issuing letters to MPs who are selling them to new recruits or issuing them to their friends and family.
It is sad to see 2022/2023 who have not stepped in internship joining permanent and Pensionable terms while 2016/2017 graduates are being subjected to 2 years mandatory internship.
The TSC recruited interns in JSS whose contract runs from Feb 2023 to 31st Dec 2023. The contract is non renewable. When TSC appeared before the Educational committee, they stated that they will automatically renew the contracts and confirm interns in 2025.
This is unfair to JSS interns who have supported the implementation of the CBC in Grade 7.
TSC must CONFIRM all interns!
@BiancaNaom1 It is unfortunate when TSC treats teachers in this manner so unfortunate teachers are suffering in the hand of their employee jss teachers have really suffered this year 2023. It is saddening and demotivating really for a teacher to be treated in this manner.#confirmjssteachers

I'm FURIOUS and APPALLED by how TSC is treating JSS teachers! I'm extremely DISAPPOINTED!
TSC recruited 21,550 intern teachers in February to teach JSS. Their contract is expiring this December, and instead of confirming permanent and pensionable terms, TSC wants to extend the contract until 2025. The monthly stipend at the start was KES 20,000, but now interns are getting KES 17,000 after being deducted from the housing levy, NHIF, and NSSF.
As if that's not enough, teachers who graduated recently are getting letters for PNP from MPs on the basis of connections, and some are buying from MPs personal assistants. Here you will find a 2022 graduate teaching a secondary school as a permanent teacher, while a 2016 graduate is an intern teacher in primary JSS.TSC has totally refused to allow these interns to apply for any replacement that comes across, as they are bound by the contract, and yet they have to stay for two years in this sorry state. President William Ruto has said not once that his administration has recruited 56,000 teachers. The truth of the matter is that only 9000 were employed on permanent and pensionable terms; the rest are interns. Here is where the problem is: these interns have vowed not to renew the contract due to the problems attached to it; secondly, they have vowed to make CBC not work if they are compelled by TSC or the government to renew this contract; I'm advocating for TSC to confirm these teachers to permanent and pensionable terms as they have served for a whole year as it has been in recent years; they started the JSS thing from scratch, teaching 14 subjects as a single teacher.
For your information, no learning is taking place in those primary schools where JSS is domiciled, from having one or two teachers to having no labs for experiments. Despite the government sending money to those schools,it has landed on very clueless heads who keep on telling JSS teachers to improvise everything.
I'm Bianca, a girl who wishes the best for JSS teachers.
Restricted Teacher interns from being interviewed for PnP jobs early this year. Promised to confirm then in January 2024.
Later, you say confirmation will be 2025? Are you really fair in dealing with interns?
