In one 10 second clip Alvarado gave Wemby a two handed push, tried to trip him, tried to hook his leg, tried to fall back into him, then finished with a single leg takedown
lol, lmao even
The dichotomy between SGA/Thunder officiating and Spurs officiating is just unbelievable. And I'm probably one of the biggest long term Spurs franchise haters out there.
Thunder make the game practically unwatchable. You shouldn't be able to have it both ways - either flop and commit to be soft, or play physical and stop whining. This is why America hates you.
@B10Ballknower@Hali Also, the Iowa State basketball budget is known to be $6 million. If you're statement were correct, then the UW basketball budget is $1.2 million or less... Not buying it.
@B10Ballknower@Hali Facts: UW Athletics just got between $76-79 million from the Big Ten and now also annually receives $14.6 million from the state.
Big 12 distribution to Iowa State is projected to be ~$50 million, with no additional state support.
What is UW doing then?!
I wrote about this in my newsletter. The Weather Service didn't launch balloons recently and got surprised by tornadoes in Kansas. DOGE cuts at NWS cut out weather balloon launches which gather data for storm prediction. You are less safe because of that choice.
@jshhspn@ChrisMWilliams@Hassel_Chris Hope he stays in and gets drafted.
But speaking very broadly, if someone willingly transfers away they automatically forfeit any fandom capital that they've accrued with me - regardless of their impact while at Iowa State. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
@jshhspn@ChrisMWilliams@Hassel_Chris If he ends up withdrawing from the draft and transferring to play a year at Duke, UNC, etc I'm gonna absolutely lose it
@WillHar18196474@BillSimmons Seriously? That completely defeats the purpose of the luxury tax since the teams paying the luxury tax are generally the teams that are winning the most. So we'd get LA Dodgers-like situations where the Celtics and Lakers just buy the titles and then get their luxury taxes refund
The WNBA expansion draft came and went without major fireworks.
The Portland Fire took Bridget Carleton No. 1, while the Toronto Tempo landed Marina Mabrey ahead of a busy free agency.
Tennessee players assume they each need to go get the rebound themselves.
Iowa State players assume someone else will get the rebound.
That's the game.
