This afternoon in Marble Hill, a New Yorker was shot by an ICE agent in a residential neighborhood. Early reports indicate agents surrounded him and a 5-year-old child in his car before firing multiple rounds. We believe the child was physically unharmed.
This is an unconscionable and incredibly serious situation. I have called the President; when we speak I will demand that he ends all ICE enforcement actions in our city. I will not stand by while ICE agents terrorize our communities.
Our thoughts are with the injured New Yorker and his family tonight. We are praying for his recovery.
Get ICE out of our neighborhoods. Get ICE out of our hospitals. Get ICE off our streets. Get ICE away from our children.
Abolish ICE.
This is literal insanity. He’s too old for any other job due to physical and mental decline, yet he’ll make decisions for the rest of us and hold a Senate seat until he dies.

To me, the post below demonstrates an important point.
The T-shirt below was made using a technique called tubular knitting, where a machine knits the body as a continuous tube. This is distinct from most modern T-shirts, where you have a two separate panels — front and back — connected by side seams.
On a tubular tee, you only have seams on the shoulders, and then holes that are cut for the neckband and sleeves. By making shirts this way, you remove one step in the sewing process.
Depending on what you value, tubular knitting can be seen as a step down in quality. Without side seams, the manufacturer has less ability to shape the body (possibly important to you if you want to give the appearance of a waist). Depending on how they're made, tubular tees can also torque, or twist around the body, over time.
But tubular T-shirts are popular among guys who like an older style, particularly vintage enthusiasts, as that's how many T-shirts were made in the past. Thus, what might otherwise be considered limitations in fit or construction are either overlooked or embraced in the name of authenticity.
This poster is on a quest to find things that he can "buy for life." A T-shirt, of course, will never be something you can reliably buy for life, as an errant meatball can ruin even the best ones, no matter how they're made.
But by digging into the technical details of clothing construction and their cultural history, you can reconfigure your relationship with your wardrobe. Even a simple, relatively cheap T-shirt (Bronson tees are about $25) can become something you care about, which in turn makes it less disposable.
I genuinely think this is going to be the straw that breaks the camel’s back and people are going to start rioting. This is fucking despicable and barbaric.
