My dear friend Jaci died in childbirth last year. Her last tweets were a statement about the importance of abortion to her.
I’ve retweeted this 🧵before, and I probably will again, because I think they are words of profound wisdom and grace.
All I can say is, as someone 38+ weeks pregnant with a very wanted baby, I do not wish this on anyone who doesn’t really, really want it.
And I’ve had a relatively healthy, uncomplicated pregnancy with a presumably healthy baby.
@mdurkin86 If you really want to find a lot of your twitter friends fast, there's a chrome extension called Skyfollowerbridge that can automate the process, too.
@mdurkin86 Bluesky has a ton of helpful starter packs that let you find people with your interests. (use https://t.co/hbMYJvkhyB to search for them). Here's one I put together of everyone I could find from the Threadnought.

Threadnoughters: if you haven't already, it's time to make the jump to Bluesky. We have a starter pack ready for you of the active Threadnought members who we now have already made accounts, so it's easy to find us on the other side. #threadnought

Bluesky now has a system for mass following to user-created lists of people, so if you are worried about finding your people over on Bluesky, make the switch already.
All of lawtwitter is about two clicks away. What are you waiting for?
My wife would kill me if I included a photo, but her craft room is now a prime example for all of us over the next four years.
It has become ungovernable.
blue states, i'm going to really need all of you to begin some semblance of an effort to build housing. this is ridiculous no matter how you look at it
@GraellsiaMoon More importantly, what does it mean for Kamala's chances in Michigan?
For more on this, we turn now to CNN senior political correspondent Gloria Bor...
On the one hand, I have money on Kamala (and I really want a pretty new guitar), but on the other hand, that "keys to the presidency" guy will be insufferable in four years if we win.
You know everybody's stressed when, after months of relative inactivity, suddenly every relative you ever gave access to is using the Plex server to stream feel-good animated movies in the middle of the day.
imagining if kant had been a contemporary airport book author and after the critique of pure reason, he published 40 variants like "critique of pure teenager reason", "critique of pure grandma reason", "critique of pure coffee lovers' reason", etc
@Iwillleavenow Telling Hollywood to "pace things better" is how every book I grew up with got squeezed into a 90-minute turd.
I'd rather they not "pace things better" and instead give me a massive, 3 1/2-hour extravaganza. Make my insanely expensive movie ticket worth it!
Something I've heard all my life from older people is "We didn't have [social issue] when I was young" or some variation thereon.
But as I approach middle age, I'm still waiting for a social issue that didn't exist when I was young to come up.
