Sorry for the radio silence, everyone. Things have not been going well.

Without going into a big spiel, we received some less than pleasant news so my family’s situation isn’t changing anytime soon.

I’ve pulled away from Vtubing to focus on getting myself into a mindset to take care of some life stuff and look into ways to improve the situation. I’ve got a rigging class coming up, and maybe turning baking hobby into an income source once I figure out pricing. I also have a surgery coming up in October on top of this that will leave me non-weight bearing for 6-8 weeks.

The hiatus may end if the class goes well and I start getting commissions as I can stream while working with some gaming tagged on, but until I get life sorted out, I’m afraid the hiatus will continue.

I do apologize for being so sporadic the last year. If you could say a small prayer for us, I would appreciate it. In the meantime, I wish you all the best and hopefully you will hear from me soon.

Say a prayer and send some good wishes for a little stray pup I’m at the vet with. Mom is a local stray that took up on our property local rescues have been unable to catch. One of her four took a turn this evening to lethargic and taking seizures. I’m at an emergency vet I really can’t afford two hours from home, but I also can’t watch the little thing suffer without trying something within my means.

@ArmorOfFaith91 Could have been, but he could have also been bitten for a short amount of time. Some ticks are also the size of a pinhead. My sister didn’t remember being bitten when she was diagnosed, so it can be a head scratcher sometimes. Will be praying for the best for your pupper!

I’m not the most artistic person imo, but made this WIP overlay and background set more or less out of boredom. Don’t think I’ll be able to use this myself, but I’m curious if anyone else would be interested. If so, I’ll offer it as a free asset. I’m sorry, but this is unacceptable behavior from the vtubing community. If you’re telling someone to kys for a mistake like this and harassing them, especially after they’ve already apologized, you really need to step back and take a good long look in the mirror. ‘Cause I promise you, you’re not perfect either. No one is- and you’re not on some morally high platform you pretend to be on when you act like this. Frankly, it’s appalling.

Was she in the wrong? Yes. But Needi has apologized and the apology was accepted by Jupiter. People really need to learn to let topics die when remorse has been expressed and the affected party has already moved on.

Twitter is bad for grinding people into the ground for the first mid-step, even if they’ve admitted to mistakes and have apologized.

As you said, Needi is human and people need to realize that one is perfect despite how much that’s often expected in this space. As Jupiter accepted the apology and Needi has shown remorse and learned from the situation, everyone else should let the topic end here.
