Does it make sense that the grand ancient universities which once made Bharat a global knowledge superpower are relegated to mere neglected ruins while entire corridors are being planned for Sufi dargahs? A Sufi corridor celebrates murderous intolerance & destruction of Hindu heritage. Instead why not create a Vishvavidyalaya corridor to honor the invaluable contributions of our ancient Hindu, Buddhist & Jain universities which served as intellectual powerhouses to enlighten scholars from all over the world?
Their destruction by fanatical Islamic invaders is the darkest chapter in our history.
Imagine the potential of restoring these university sites with world-class museums. Stunning exhibits could showcase the archaeological artifacts, grand libraries could rekindle interest in the knowledge they left behind, and powerful media displays could retell the factual history of their horrific destruction at the hands of Islamic iconoclasts. Such a project would not only celebrate our rich heritage but also serve as a powerful reminder of the irreversible damage caused by religious intolerance and violence.
It's the least we can do to honor the memories of thousands of scholarly luminaries who elevated our civilization with their wisdom.
