@LastLucief But also, he is so devoted to Milvey, maybe he gave away everything for him and became empty on his own, that's why other than his sorrow/love for Milvey in that scene, we don't see him feel. Too much devotion for someone can make one empty.

Milverton and Ruskin's relationship is just special, because Milverton didn't and couldn't have anyone else who genuinely cares for him after they saw who he really is. No one else would be capable of loving his horrible personality aside from Ruskin.

@LastLucief I have a lot of ideas for why Ruskin looks unemotional all the time. Maybe he tries to hide what he feels (the one he has feelings for is still the King of Blackmail) or he tries to act composed, because he is afraid that if he lets something away, it can mess with the work. +

@amila_ws @IHopeIWill13 killing people - William wouldn't deem his most dangerous enemy if this was the case. He was a threat because his media manipulation could have crossed William's plan by presenting the Lord of Crime's defeat in a way that William wouldn't be able bring the change he wanted.

So no, Milverton is not a bad character, but a waisted potential. And also, no, he was not threatening just because of +
