To the comments undermining experiences of poc make no mistake-the daily microaggressions on campus instigated by the admin breed a violent culture of oppression. It’s the small acts of violence that culminated in the murder of George Floyd. This is systematic racism #exposemitty

@zucelaguilar @FirstLa95642529 Same. My dad was worried I wouldn't be accepted to any "top colleges" if I couldn't show that I'd graduated from Mitty. That's the real kicker. Mitty convinces parents to be fearful, too. #exposemitty

Mitty broke me as a young person. But now? I know too much about my own capabilities. I know so much more about my own worth than they ever wanted me to. I wanna look out for y’all who are still in it. Because #exposemitty is going to be necessary until they change.

It’s been 10 years since my fime there. I have 2 more degrees to show for it and now work as a mental health professional in my community. I serve youth and families who have been impacted by the very things showcased in the #exposemitty collection.

Mitty can dismiss emails. They can control the narrative when things happen on their turf. But on Twitter? On Instagram? On Facebook? They can’t control that as much. That’s why this is so important. #exposemitty strips them of the power they’ve tried to maintain.

For what it’s worth, I spoke up and challenged Fallis when he treated me like shit. I know I’m not the only one who tried to speak up at the time. But clearly, that didn’t work. Think about that when you wonder why #exposemitty exists.

On some level, Fallis knows his behavior is wrong. HE hasn't moved on from whatever trauma molded him into the person he is today. He didn't become this way by accident, which is all the more reason he should do the responsible thing and NOT work with young people. #exposemitty

Jim Fallis in response to literally any student who had actual proof of their harrassment: "Oh, so you're just saving that so you can remind yourself to get upset. Delete it and you won't be upset anymore. Move on." #exposemitty

White kids at Mitty tell biracial students that they're "fake Black people," but then ask those same students to "teach [them] Ebonics" in the same breath. Before you ask, no, Jim Fallis and Tim Brosnan don't think that's problematic either. #exposemitty
