I'm not just a knitter. I'm also a stash hoarder, fighting the good fight to keep indie dyers in business. Qualified toddler chaser and baby carrier. She/her
@LauraKeeney@ithayla Not US, but in Sweden we also fax medical information, because of patient confidentiality. Email isn't secure enough to transfer sensitive patient information when transferring between hospitals. Would never expect a patient to fax things though.
@BitchyKnitter Sorry to see you go - I'm just a lurker but appreciate anyone who holds a torch up to the insanity of the right wingers. Completely understand why you feel you have to though. Take care and all the best. ♥️
So here it is, after what seems like an endless time stitching! My latest embroidery is finally finished… I’ll leave it to your own interpretations… 😊🧵🌿🌺🌀

@kariebookish 100% agree with you. Also, what happened to "don't judge a book by its cover"?
Personally I let the blurb decide whether or not a book is for me, not the cover (though a truly shitty cover increases risk of being self-pub with no editing).
Mega brain moment:
Me: "Why does the library solely for 10 to 13-year-olds not open till 2 pm during the week?"
Me, one second later: "...because the clientele is in school."
🤦🏻♀️
I need more sleep.
@SirBenfro ♥️
She's been a bit off, and recently her breathing has been affected occasionally, so he took her to the vet this morning. They found a large abdominal tumour, so for her sake we decided to let her go. At least she was with her favourite person till the end.
@EverydayKnitter And then once you finish it it'll be way too big, magically. See also sleeves, who stubbornly are always a bit too short until you cast off, when they turn out to be a minimum of 10 cm too long.
@Kajehase I know, right?! Once she's old enough to move out she'll know this truth on her own.
Also, we've a 3yo who would eat spaghetti all day every day if we let her.
9yo taken it upon herself to catalogue the contents of our pantry in the basement.
I'm feeling judged as her entries include: TOO MUCH PASTA, LOTS of empty bottles (they're JARS) and A LOT OF OIL. We've also got "whatever this is" with helpful photo (those would be stock cubes)
