Never forget that Queen Elizabeth and Charles had to be dragged kicking and screaming by Tony Blair and Alastair Campbell into publicly mourning Princess Diana and giving her the public funeral she deserved.
Their initial response to her death was dismissive and out of touch.😩
Matt Wilkinson, this headline is trash—and so is The Sun’s attempt to blame Meghan Sussex for somebody else violating her privacy.
Your newspaper obtained a screenshot from a school-parent WhatsApp group, branded it a “Royals Exclusive,” published the conversation and then claimed Meghan “leaked her own number.”
How the fuck did Meghan leak it?
Did she send the screenshot to The Sun? Did she circulate it outside the group? Or did somebody else take information intended for parents and hand it to a national tabloid?
My son is in college. My wife and I are in a group chat with the parents of his roommate. That is what parents do. Joining a group chat is not leaking your number. Carrying information from that chat outside the group is the leak.
So who gave The Sun the screenshot? Did that person approach the newspaper, or was The Sun digging through the school community for an exclusive? Was anybody paid? The paper may protect its source, but it cannot blame Meghan for the source’s actions.
Now look at the entire picture.
Prince Harry and Meghan’s children start school, and their school arrangements become national news. Parents are quoted. Their journey to school becomes content. Complaints about security vehicles become headlines. Then a screenshot from a parents’ WhatsApp group appears in The Sun.
What the fuck is wrong with these people?
Prince Archie is seven. Princess Lilibet is five. They are children. Yet their school community, daily journey and mother’s communications are being mined for content.
At what point does reporting become sustained harassment?
Nobody is publishing screenshots from the Princess of Wales’s school-parent WhatsApp chats. Her participation in those groups was praised as relatable, normal parenting. Meghan does the same thing, and suddenly her conversation becomes tabloid inventory.
Then Wilkinson, The Sun and the rest of this rotten media culture ask why Prince Harry and Meghan are concerned about security.
This is fucking why.
Security is not merely somebody standing at a gate. It means controlling exposure, protecting routes, monitoring threats and limiting how much information reaches people who may intend harm. Every leaked number, exposed routine and parent turned into a tabloid source creates another vulnerability.
You cannot probe the children’s school community, obtain messages and generate national attention around the family’s movements—then ridicule them for wanting protection.
Security should be determined by actual risk, not by whether tabloid columnists like the family.
Meghan did not leak her number.
Someone leaked her trust, and The Sun turned that betrayal into a headline blaming the victim.
That is not journalism.
It is reckless, invasive garbage from a trash reporter whose coverage of Prince Harry and Meghan increasingly reads less like reporting and more like a personal vendetta.
Right, @MattSunRoyal?
And then if Meghan didn’t join the WhatsApp group or used a decoy number, they’d say she thinks she’s too good, doesn’t want to participate properly or care about the wellbeing of her children. Damned if she does, damned if she doesn’t.

DONALD TRUMP WAS TOLD HE COULDN’T GIVE A SPEECH AT TODAY’S 9/11 MEMORIAL CEREMONY
So he didn’t show up.
Let it sink in...
For years, politicians have not been permitted to give speeches at the official Ground Zero ceremony. The day is deliberately kept focused on the victims, their families and the people who ran toward those burning buildings.
Clinton showed up today.
Bush showed up.
Obama showed up.
Biden showed up.
None of them needed a microphone.
None of them needed applause.
None of them needed September 11 to be about them.
Donald Trump wanted to speak. When Ground Zero wouldn't give him the stage, he ran to the Pentagon where he could demand one.
And he gave his speech anyway.
Like a petulant child who couldn't get his way, the President of the United States apparently couldn't simply stand silently with the families and honor their dead.
He needed a microphone. He needed a stage. He needed to make himself part of the story.
That is what makes this so profoundly disrespectful.
2,977 people were murdered on September 11.
Thousands of families woke up this morning remembering a husband, wife, mother, father, son, daughter, brother, sister or friend who never came home.
Their grief does not belong to Donald Trump.
Their sacrifice is not a backdrop for Donald Trump.
September 11 is not a Donald Trump event.
There are days when a president should lead.
There are days when a president should speak.
And there are days when a president should shut up the fuck up, bow his head, and remember the dead.
Today was one of those days.
NOT EVERYTHING IS ABOUT YOU, DONALD.
Especially not 9/11.
Man United are mid table.
Man City have 115 charges.
Spurs haven’t scored a goal.
Chelsea are not in Europe at all.
Liverpool have three £100M flops.
But their main concern so far this season is where Arteta stands on the side of the pitch?
No shame at all.
By the way, this is the same Coventry team Arsenal beat 3-0 at home while allowing just 4 shots and 1 shot on target.
Back then, rival fans were quick to say, “They’re just a Championship team.”
Now it’s 83 minutes and Manchester City have scored just once, while Coventry have managed 10 shots and 3 on target.
All of the sudden, I am hearing "Coventry is a decent side"
Funny how the narrative changes depending on who you’re watching.
There’s this lady on the Notting Hill Carnival parade route who livestreamed the event and she's educating people.
They kept asking her about the rubbish, and she flexed by pointing out that this is the richest borough in the UK and that it would all be cleaned up by the morning, although she said she "would happily clean it" herself.
She also said: "It's nice. The way the world is at the moment, with all the separation, fighting and wars going on, it's just lovely to see people come together and release."
