@ababyartist @clhubes I never go alone. It's less about the predators and more about what if I get lost or hurt or something. Most of the dead hikers you hear about were alone, and a lot of them didn't have a plan to for somebody ready to call for help if they didn't return by a certain time.

@Olas_Truth I don't care WHAT you do to that bird, or what you say, that white meat is going to be DRY if you cook it to safe temps. Especially if you have a wad of bread and stuff adding to the mass.

@Olas_Truth It won't be the same, but dressing is good. I didn't have it in the bird until I was an adult. My family uses stock, and if we feel REAL fancy we'll get a whole other collection of turkey parts and make it turkey stock.

I also quarter the bird and pull the white meat when done.
