@971theticketxyt All our teams have loyal fan bases that spend big money to fill the home stadiums. It seems like that's enough for our team executives. Winning is a distant second.

[Mitch Kozera @MjkDrummer]

@Lynn_Henning When they had all those guys in place they were good, not great. Their problems were largely related to system versus personal. The GM knew who he lost to injury and attrition. He most definitely should've added improved personnel to cover those gaps.

[Mitch Kozera @MjkDrummer]

@J_the_ManSelden He doesn't have a contract to play. Jeez. You don't understand that? He could and should sign an offer sheet with another team and force a move. He's playing nice by asking Detroit to trade his rights.

[Mitch Kozera @MjkDrummer]

@JFrawley43363 @JimCosta_ No they're filthy rich, greedy and insufferably clueless.

[Mitch Kozera @MjkDrummer]

@JimCosta_ The Illiches are like Nero in ancient Rome.

[Mitch Kozera @MjkDrummer]

@the_det_times @FriedgeHNIC For all teams with greedy clueless owners the new phrase for the fans will be "you've been Illiched."

@DetroitPodcast

@MarcRyanOnAir Because they wanted him for less than Dallas offered.

[Mitch Kozera @MjkDrummer]

@JimCosta_ It's stupid. It's as if the owner doesn't care if there is even a team this year.

[Mitch Kozera @MjkDrummer]

@riger1984 I'd agree where the offense and position players are concerned. They need to decide how many strike outs are too many. Greene's not going anywhere. Valencia has a good RH bat. He needs 500 AB's. Can he play 1B? The bullpen needs to be rebuilt. They need a sub 3.50 ERA vet starter

[Mitch Kozera @MjkDrummer]

@riger1984 Here's an idea: If he's gonna pay a guy $35M a year pick one in his prime.

[Mitch Kozera @MjkDrummer]

@riger1984 They'll never win then. His pro scouting department blew it with the pitching FAs. Pure and simple. Fans see it.

[Mitch Kozera @MjkDrummer]

@DetroitTankCity That's certainly possible. Games like tonight increase his trade value too.

[Mitch Kozera @MjkDrummer]

@t__p__2 @JeffMossDSR 💯

[Mitch Kozera @MjkDrummer]

@HankDesmondPhD The first amendment was written specifically to allow free reporting regardless of whether or not it pleases the government. That was the first consideration.

[Mitch Kozera @MjkDrummer]

@TigersJUK Valencia looks like he understands his strike zone levels better than Tork understands his. And Valencia played 1B at AAA. Colt Keith needs a regular spot too.

[Mitch Kozera @MjkDrummer]

@DetroitTankCity He's better when he gets regular at bats. He made $4M on a expiring contract. They probably bring him back for that. Especially if Vierling doesn't return and Carpenter gets traded which should happen.

[Mitch Kozera @MjkDrummer]

@DetroitTankCity Vierling is gone. Everyone else is under team control. Carpenter is great trade bait if he can get healthy. Platoon LH DH is it for him here. Meadows and Perez won't get in the lineup here. Maybe a Carpenter/Meadows package to get a decent bullpen arm?

[Mitch Kozera @MjkDrummer]

@stoney16 @GreatWhite85 Stoney when somebody talks to you like that you act like they don't exist, then they'll stop.
