Sitaane, 3 months ago, on the 21st of March, 2026, launched an attack on the life of Maama. However, sitaane miscalculated. The 21st of March is a good day for the Resistance. That is when we defeated the counter-attack of Idi Amin at Rugaando (12 miles from Mbarara) in 1979. God, using good doctors, saved Maama’s life and she is now recovering well.

Maama has done great things in the family, especially caring for the children during the 2nd phase of the Resistance between 1981 to 1986 when she was alone in exile and I was in the bush. She has been a great philanthropist with UWESO and she has contributed to the NRM politics in Ntungamo on top of her religious work.

I pray to God to get us to 100 years respectively so that we, among the other good things, see the birth of the East African Federation which is the Insurance of Africa against any future domination or marginalization.

Inappropriate dumping in drainages & along roads causes degeneration of @KCCAUG roads. The drainages get blocked, water floods, roads give way & our vehicles are affected.

Earlier today, I joined the @KCCAUG team, local leaders, and residents in Kisalosalo Zone, Kawempe Division, for a community cleanup. It was a great experience interacting directly with the residents as we worked together to improve the cleanliness of our city. This collaborative effort is essential in building a smarter, cleaner, and healthier Kampala. I encourage all residents to practice waste segregation and avoid littering. Today, Prime Minister @R_Nabbanja along with Ministers, inspected progress on key roads in the city like Sir Apollo Kaggwa, Luwafu, 8th Street, Sentema & Mutesa I. Our dedication to enhancing the city's road network is clear!

NAMUWONGO ROAD: A road that had lived it's lifespan, riddled with potholes which in turn affected socio-economic activity.

This 2.73km road is pivotal in connecting the Central Business District to Makindye Division as well as easing connectivity in the Industrial Area and neighboring communities.

Finally this morning after intense work of over one week the technical team has finally unblocked the water sewer line drainage which has been blocked for over 3 years around the YY couches parking & causing major flooding in the city CBD -waste management system #keepsoroticlean
