#IndianFootball Adding a bit more on ⚽ Culture in (rural)Jharkhand 🧵:
Tournaments are held all year, including on special occasions like festivals in rural Jharkhand. Almost Every village has a ⚽ ground, boys form teams & train themselves for those tournaments meticulously+
Football is the most played sport in this region. I have attended Village, tribal, and school tournaments and people take a keen interest in following them.
People pay money to watch the game, people spend entire day watching the games and it's been a part of the culture.

Ancestral home to a very close frnd of mine. His grandfather & family fled to save their lives just years after partition. These scenes are refreshing but there are many who have inherited generational grief as their family were once forced to flee their homeland..💔
10 years ago, on 19 October 2016, Bengaluru FC made Indian football history💙. BFC became the first Indian club to reach the AFC Cup final.
Clubs like Mumbai City FC later got to compete in the ACL group stage only because of BFC's contributions to India's club coefficients.
@MithraInvictus Though, Hinduism isn't alone. There is Shinto, Chinese & African traditional religions around the world. While in India there is also Sarnaism....
@Navinsports 💔
How can a team that won top tier get successive relegations!? Shows OFC lost interest to run it properly. Should've continued participation in State league at least.
