I should probably mention this now, by the way: I've decided to close https://t.co/aLRZaKpcJQ indefinitely so I can focus on Artist Alley. I started https://t.co/oN8ZgrLObI back in 2019 when generative AI was a fun, cool, hip new thing that no one had seen before, and as a fresh college graduate, I thought it would be really funny to take cutting-edge voice AI research and apply it to something as silly as TF2 and MLP.

Since then, generative AI has come such long way to the point where I don't recognize it anymore as the same quirky little thing that I remember it being. I'll always be in love with the technical details behind the latest breakthroughs in the field, but the fact that the technology's been getting squeezed to death for profit by corporations kinda killed my passion for a lot of it.

https://t.co/mmm1S2jeT3 has always cost me thousands of dollars every single month to just keep it up, and I never once made a profit off of it throughout its many years, but it's just not physically possible for me to hold my attention on both projects simultaneously. I think it's about time I shift my focus entirely on something that I genuinely find exciting, something that isn't just for fun and can really help people around the world.
