Look at these Javan kingfishers (Halcyon cyanoventris) confined in small and barren cages at Plered bird market, West Java. The Javan Kingfisher sells well in the bird markets in Java. Their population continues to decline due to hunting and habitat loss.

Jersey only recycles 6% of plastic bottles that come into the island. Most of them are just thrown in the bin. 😲
We could improve this if ALL parishes offered kerbside #recycling. These are the ones that do.
