Heavenly Father, thank You for another day. Sometimes the breakthrough isn't a miracle. Sometimes it's finally obeying what You already said.
Today, give us courage to act.
"Be doers of the word, and not hearers only." (James 1:22).
Father, You parted the Jordan after the priests stepped in first. Do it again for us. In Jesus' name we pray. AMEN.
If somebody really care about you, they’ll feel it when they hurt you. They won’t flip the story, dodge accountability, or play victim. They’ll step up, own their mess, and try to fix what they broke. But when someone cares more about how they look than how you feel...That ain’t love, that’s ego. And when you speak your truth and all you get is defensiveness instead of remorse, that’s your answer. Believe what they show you. Walk away. Guard your peace like it’s life or death… because sometimes, it really is. 📌💯
There’s a certain kind of sadness that doesn’t make you cry; it just sits quietly in your chest, heavy and unmoving. You learn to laugh through it, to pretend you’re fine, but deep down, you feel the emptiness where someone used to be.
i have so much respect for people who put ego aside, take responsibility, apologise and actually change their behaviour. emotional maturity will always be attractive to me.
Some people don’t push you away directly. They do it in small doses. A late reply here. A dry tone there. Until one day you look at yourself and realize you are begging for leftovers. And in Uganda, even a stray dog refuses cold matooke.
As independent as I am, I love to be babied. Acts of service are how I feel loved. I don't care about money. Just lighten my load. I'm too prideful to ask for help, but when you take the initiative to take things off my plate, I know you really see me.
There is a WOMAN somewhere right now who has:
No boyfriend
No helper
No sneaky links
Just by herself and fixing her life.
Wherever you are Sis, you will WIN.
Stay anchored. Even through the chaos, noise, and fickleness of this realm. Your only assignment is alignment with the Creator. Do not attach to the instability of this world. Destiny is not found in the crowd, but in the quiet pull of your divine purpose. Trust Spirit.
Creator of life and light, at this time of year we pray for the soil; that it may be rich, nurtured, and generous.
We pray for the rains; that they may come in their time, steady and gentle. We pray for the seeds; that they may carry within them abundance and blessing.
Asè.
People throw spiritual warfare at you thinking it’ll slow you down, whole time you’re an alchemist so you just transform the energy they send you into becoming even greater. Like, thanks for the boost now go heal that hole in your heart.
If you come for my children I’ll eat you. I will meet you with every ancestor behind me. I will protect them with a force older than fear, wiser than cunning,
and fiercer than any threat.
I will not hesitate.
I will not negotiate.
I will not forgive.
Chasing someone to prove to yourself that you're worth holding on to is a trauma response. You don't have to chase and force what's meant for you. The right person will show you that they want you and foster vulnerability and safety rather than confusion, self-doubt, and worry.
That phase when you begin to fall more deeply in love with your partner because each new day reveals just amazing they truly are, and you’re focused on appreciating even the littlest thing about them, rather than fault finding and nitpicking>>>>>>>>
a sign that your nervous system is recovering from living in survival mode is needing lots of sleep. when you crave lots of rest, more slowing down and relaxing, that’s a beautiful sign.
If love finds me again, I hope it comes from a person who is willing to treat me right. A person who never makes me question my worth, a person who doesn't make me beg for love and doesn't make me feel stupid in love.
I do reminisce too much about the people from my past who truly hurt me, because I know I was good to them ...and I never got closure. Sometimes that kind of stuff still messes with me. But I understand it for what it is, and I’m working on letting it go.
