I bumped into Mangobese earlier today while on my walk. She has such a pure aura and genuine love for our nation. As I said to you @JacintaNgobese what you’re doing for this nation is selfless, we’re rooting for you. May God bless and protect you. You’re called for this mission.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆. She was part of the protests today. If anyone can assist this sister; please do or provide her details so we can share her story here.
This is what happens in a country with a dysfunctional justice system and corrupt law enforcement. Citizens are everywhere walking with open wounds, failed by the justice system. Hope she heals one day! 🙏🏼 🤍

Minister @Leon_Schreib, why is this so complicated, and why has decisive action not followed?
Applying for asylum is not the same as qualifying as a refugee. An application triggers an assessment, not a licence to stay.
International law does not oblige us to accept a system in which unfounded claims clog the process, or to disregard whether applicants have passed through safe countries.
Today, your Department withdrew its asylum directive of 28 September. By its own account, refugee reception offices were overwhelmed "within a matter of days".
Your Department states that the Director-General issued the directive without your knowledge. What accountability will follow?
Your Department now says a fresh process is needed to comply with the July Constitutional Court judgment. What is that plan, who is responsible for it, and when will it be implemented?
Your Cabinet-approved White Paper proposes a first safe country rule. A White Paper is policy, not law. Any such rule must be enacted by Parliament and must be consistent with the Constitution and the Court's judgments.
You have indicated that you aim to table the Bill by March 2027. What prevents earlier tabling?
Unfounded claims must be assessed promptly and finalised without delay, within the law.
Once a claim is finally rejected, the law must be enforced and deportation must follow without delay.
In May, the Constitutional Court held that the Refugees Act does not give failed asylum seekers a right to lodge a subsequent application.
How many failed applicants have been deported since that judgment, and how many remain in the country pending removal?
These questions go to administration, enforcement and political accountability.
The public is entitled to clear answers and decisive action.
The answer to this crisis is a system that works, the rule of law and accountability, not violence in our streets.
I’ve noticed a disturbing pattern among certain academics, political commentators and self-proclaimed intellectuals. They constantly dismiss ordinary South Africans as though we’re just making noise on X and lack the education or intelligence to understand complex issues.
What they conveniently forget is that they’re engaging with educated South Africans too, including professionals both within and outside the legal field. Not everyone who disagrees with them is uninformed or incapable of understanding the law.
Apparently, having a title, lots of followers or qualification makes their opinions more valuable than ours. The arrogance and condescension are astounding. Being educated doesn’t make you immune to criticism nor does it make everyone who disagrees with you ignorant.
What do you mean a South African child cannot get an ID because their parents died when they were young and they need to pay around R3,000 for DNA testing with a relative to obtain one, while a foreigner can simply get documentation for free?
@sile_siba I don't understand why other people like bo Cat, Nkosi & the likes don't look that bad on their appearances at court, then why does Sibiya looks like he has been in there for 10 years 🤔
Girl to Girl,
Please chase Jesus, even on days when it hurts, when you're scared and tired. There’s nothing better than surrendering to Him. He is always on time and His plans are always greater. Always!!🥹
Carrim, Khan and Maumela will never testify at the Commission. It's quite clear there's too much at stake. Advocate Muzi Sikhakhane warned Justice Madlanga during his farewell speech at the Constitutional Court soon after he was he appointed to head this Commission that he was "entering the belly of the beast". We can see it now.
Commissioners must finish their work, submit the report, and let the powers that be do whatever they want with it. The rot is deep, and it is beyond them.
TAKE THESE PRAYER POINTS AND USE THEM TO PRAY FOR YOUR CHILDREN. BE VERY INTENTIONAL. 🙏
Your children may be sleeping, playing, at school, or far away from you, but you can still stand in the place of prayer and speak God’s Word over their lives.
Call them by name and pray:
1. Pray for their salvation—that they will know Jesus personally and walk with Him all their lives. (John 3:3)
2. Pray that they will love Jesus above everything else. (Matthew 22:37)
3. Pray that they will walk in God's ways and never depart from His Word. (Psalm 119:105)
4. Pray for their protection and that God will surround them with His angels. (Psalm 34:7; Psalm 91:11)
5. Pray that no weapon formed against them will prosper. (Isaiah 54:17)
6. Pray for their minds, that God will protect them from confusion, deception, fear, and ungodly influences. (Philippians 4:7-8)
7. Pray for wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and discernment. (Proverbs 4:7; James 1:5)
8. Pray that they will have hearts that obey God. (John 14:15)
9. Pray that they will be delivered from rebellion, pride, stubbornness, and hardness of heart. (Proverbs 3:7)
10. Pray for their friendships, that God will surround them with godly people. (Proverbs 13:20)
11. Pray against ungodly influences and relationships that could pull them away from God. (Psalm 1:1-2)
12. Pray for their purity, that they will flee sexual immorality and walk in holiness. (1 Corinthians 6:18-20)
13. Pray that God will give them clean hearts and steadfast spirits. (Psalm 51:10)
14. Pray over their words, that their mouths will speak life, wisdom, truth, and grace. (Proverbs 18:21; Ephesians 4:29)
15. Pray that the fruit of the Spirit will be evident in their character. (Galatians 5:22-23)
16. Pray for their education and learning, that God will give them understanding and excellence. (Daniel 1:17)
17. Pray for their gifts and talents, that they will discover them and use them for God's glory. (1 Peter 4:10)
18. Pray for their purpose and calling, that they will fulfil the assignment God has given them. (Ephesians 2:10)
19. Pray that their lives will not be wasted, distracted, or destroyed by the enemy. (Psalm 90:12)
20. Pray for their future careers and provision, that God will establish the work of their hands. (Psalm 90:17)
21. Pray for their health and strength, asking God to preserve them from sickness, accidents, and harm. (Psalm 103:2-3)
22. Pray for their emotional and spiritual strength, especially when they face fear, rejection, disappointment, or discouragement. (Isaiah 41:10)
23. Pray that they will know God's voice and follow Him. (John 10:27)
24. Pray for their future marriages, that God will prepare their spouses and preserve them from ungodly relationships. (2 Corinthians 6:14)
25. Pray for their future families, that their homes will honour God. (Joshua 24:15)
26. Pray that they will honour their parents and receive godly instruction with humility. (Ephesians 6:1-3)
27. Pray that they will be lights in their generation and point others to Jesus. (Matthew 5:14-16)
28. Pray that they will serve God faithfully and never be ashamed of the Gospel. (Romans 1:16)
29. Pray that God will order every step of their lives according to His will. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
30. Above everything else, pray that they will remain faithful to Jesus and finish their race well. (2 Timothy 4:7; Jude 24)
Then declare over your household:
“But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” — Joshua 24:15
Do not only provide for your children. Pray for them.
Do not only worry about their future. Commit their future to God.
Do not wait until they are in trouble before you begin praying.
Be intentional.
And if you do not have children yet, you can still pray ahead of them. Pray for the children you are trusting God for. Pray for their salvation, protection, purity, purpose, future spouses, families, and their walk with Jesus.
Your prayers can go ahead of them. 🙏
I found a prayer in Psalm 27:13 this morning..
Lord, preserve in me the ability to believe that there is still goodness ahead of me, especially when my present circumstances give me very little evidence to hold on to. Keep disappointment from making me suspicious of the things I once prayed for. When life has taken so much out of me that I start expecting less simply so I won’t be hurt again, remind me that lowered expectations are not the same thing as peace.
Don’t let what I have survived become the lens through which I imagine the rest of my life. Keep my heart open enough to still recognize good when it finally finds me.
Uncommon advice: If you don't know what to pursue in life right now, pursue yourself. Pursue becoming the healthiest, happiest, most healed, most present, and most confident version of yourself. Then, the right path will reveal itself.
