Ss have been working hard on their persuasive letter writing! After reading The Reindeer Rebellion, Ss created their own unique reindeer characters and wrote to #santa explaining why they should be hired for the job as Santa's reindeer. @BritanniaPS

Dec 7-11 is Bullying Awareness + Prevention Week @PeelSchools. We are learning how to #chooseAction to #beantiracist. Yesterday after reading The Proudest Blue by @IbtihajMuhammad we discussed and reflected on anti-racism and finding new ways to show courage. @BritanniaPS

This week the #sciencefun continues as gr. 2s continue to #experiment with different liquids and solids to test their predictions and investigate other mixtures. Today we had fun making "slime" by mixing water & cornstarch. @BritanniaPS

Today in @MmeGalluzzo ‘s class we read @andreabeaty ‘s Rosie Revere Engineer and challenged ourselves to build tall and stable structures. Just like Rosie, we cheered for each “failure” because, as she taught us, “The only true failure can come if you quit.” @PDSB_Libraries

In math, we are learning to compare two and three-digit numbers. Ss had a great time playing the "Greater Than and Less Than Game" with their classmates! You can try this at home using 2 dice. 🎲 #mathfun #learningmathisfun @BritanniaPS
