And so it starts. Bowling Green is cutting their World Language Education program because of SB1.

Of the 14 public universities in OH there are only 5 that offer a teacher licensure track for World Languages. And not all of those, like my alma mater, OU, ...

The long-term impact of this decision will be felt not just at BGSU, but in classrooms and communities across the region.

I urge you to reconsider. Please advocate for a waiver and reinstate the World Language Education program. This program is too valuable to lose.

The State of Ohio decided to raise property taxes again.

I voted No and I spoke out.

I understand why groups like Citizens for Property Tax Reform are petitioning- the state's failure is driving seniors out of their homes.

🇫🇷 French IV class practiced their circumlocution skills and the expression tenir à cœur à with a fun show-and-tell activity. Students brought mystery items, played 20 questions in French to guess them, and shared presentations about their significance. #TheBulldogWay

🥗 Mrs. Jones' Urban Ag. Class teamed up with the Food Service Department to bring their hydroponic lettuce and herbs into the cafeteria! These fresh ingredients are used in salads district-wide, while cafeteria scraps support the students' composting projects. 🍅 #TheBulldogWay

🇫🇷 It's National French Week! To celebrate the 321 million French speakers worldwide, French Club decorated the cafeteria, hung banners on lockers, and planned special announcements to honor students learning French and exploring Francophone culture. 🎉 #TheBulldogWay
